Name of camp: SLA Location: 9 Hanover Pl How quondam was your child when they attended camp this summertime? 3 Review: nine-5 Mandarin camp. She didn't know whatever Mandarin, and so nosotros were worried she would feel lost/dislocated, but she had a neat fourth dimension and the teachers were sooo sweet. At starting time we were worried the mean solar day was too long, but information technology was really nice to have her whole twenty-four hours full of activities (plus it gave united states a dainty pause). They did lots of complex craft, made food (dumplings, sushi, bound rolls), made their own slime and play doh and bubbles, etc. and had daily outings to the playground. I wish they had a playground / park closer - it was a x min walk from schoolhouse and my daughter said it was too hot / far to walk at that place every day.

I originally wanted my daughter to attend both the Standard mandarin and French classes, however due to Covid and we had to choose one. We ended upward choosing Standard mandarin only. The school is great at enforcing masking wearing on all kids, including our 2 year old. The schoolhouse requires united states to fill out daily temperature checks and Covid questions. ISO: Feedback on SLA Standard mandarin Preschool
Our son K. (three) has been in the SLA programme for 2 years and actually enjoys it. He is in the half day programme. I have been very impressed with their teachers, who are energetic, kind, and fluent speakers. To our surprise, in person programming has been fairly continuous this year. All the kids wear masks. Nevertheless, if a child gets sick in a classroom, the entire classroom goes remote for 2 weeks. (February 2021)

Experience with Science, Linguistic communication, Arts (SLA) International School?
We have had children at SLA for five years now. Our daughter started in Grand and is at present in Gr 4, and our son started in K and is now in Gr ane. Our youngest child will likely start PK at that place in the fall. All in the French track. Our feel at the school has been positive and we accept been witness to the school'due south growth and are excited well-nigh plans for further enrichment. My child LOVED SLA Annex. We are continuing on with the school This a French immersion program. My child only went ii/week and felt at domicile. The teachers are absolute magic. I have never experienced this much love and intendance for my child exterior of our home. Even though my child spoke zero French, she felt so safety, comfy and loved that information technology never bothered her.
